Upcycled Skinny Jeans!

UPDATED from yesterday...now with added photos of matching pillowcase shirt! As some of you know I've taken up sewing, my new latest and greatest hobby. :) I had a 4 session sewing class that taught me the basics to get my craft on! I will try to post the pictures of projects I made in the class, but this one I did all on my own today during nap time! I have been wanting to add ruffles of some of Harlan's jeans and this is what I came up with. She had these 'skinny jeans' that were way too long (as is the issue with most of her pants). I got them along with a bag of other used clothes that I bought for cheap from someone whose daughter outgrew them. I love this idea of what the internet world calls "upcycling" which is crafting new things out of something old! Let me know what you think, I think they turned out cute and it didn't cost me anything...all material were stuff I had laying around. :)
