Christmas cards are now available!

Hello friends and family! October is basically over and November is a few days away, which means the holidays are quickly approaching. What does that mean? The time has finally come for me to begin taking orders for Christmas cards! Now is a perfect time to get your cards ordered (and get them sent out early) so you have one less thing do worry about getting done before 2008 comes to an end. The way this will work is you will pick out a card you like (doesn't have to be all the same one...they are going to different people). If you don't see any cards below that catch your eye or want some colors/images swapped just let me know and I'll work up something custom just for you. The pricing will be as follows: $3.50 per card depending on the quantity. The last card shown with the photo, of my lovely husband and I, will be $4 each since more time and supplies are required. All you will need to do is insert your family photo. All cards purchased will come with coordinating envelopes making it easier for you to mail out as soon as they're received. Don't forget to contact me early...I'll accept orders until the 1st week of December.

Also, if you are looking for a special hand made unique gift for that friend or loved one I also make sets of 12 note cards, which can be monogrammed. Price for the set w/ envelopes: $24.

These smaller 3x3 note cards come in a set of 8 (all different images) and are perfect for using as a gift tag! Envelopes included as always. Price for set:$5

Below is the $4 card. It's a nice look and allows the ability of the photo most families wish to include.

Bundle of Boy!

I whipped up this baby boy announcement this afternoon for my mother-in-law's co-worker who's due in December. Once he's born all she has to do is put his picture inside the scalloped circle and mail it out. I had to show it off to all of you because I thought it was just too cute. Let me know what you think...

October '08 Vacation

Hello friends and family! Jeff and I have been busy the last week or so...He took a week from work so we could do some traveling. We first went to Denver, CO to hang out with friends for the weekend and us girls made cards, while the guys golfed and watched football. On Monday we headed to Vail, CO for a few days. On Wednesday we picked up Jeff's Dad, Gary, from the airport in Denver and headed to Cheyenne, WY for the rest of the week. On Saturday we flew back to San Fransisco and drove down to San Jose, CA to visit with Jeff's sister who was there for a school conference. On Sunday we drove to Santa Cruz, CA to see the beach, the Redwood trees at Big Basin State Park, and then finally ended up at home Sunday evening. What a trip! Enjoy a few of the pictures below.

Our friends Melissa & Travis-we went to dinner in downtown Denver.

View from the opposite side of the booth.

Check it out...we have our own road.

Countryside views on our way to Vail.

...more mountains.

...even more mountains.

This is what the Vail slopes look like with out snow...actually we may have been driving by Copper Mountain, they weren't far from each other.

We ate lunch in Vail Village...pretty much the only place to shop/dine in the town of Vail.

Me and a bear.

Jeff and a moose...we were bored.

Eating at Arby's-picture of Jeff's Dad, grandpa Ward and Aunt Kathy.

Ready to leave Arby's...

Jeff's uncle Jerry and Aunt Kathy came up from Greeley, CO for the day.

Grandpa Ward's new retirement apartment that he will move into possibly after the first of the year.

Jeff's grandparents from his mothers side. We ate lunch at the Chinese buffet.

Grandpa Ward's cute little house of 40+ years. I wanted to get one last picture in case we didn't make it back before he moved.

Grandpa Ward, Gary, Jeff, and I before we left for breakfast and then the airport at his house.

San Jose-we met Karen, Jeff's sister, for the evening and took her out to dinner.

Santa Cruz-we drove an additional 30 miles from San Jose to check out the beach.

Lots of volleyball.

It was a chilly 60 degrees and the water was freezing, but I loved it!

We can't wait to go back to Santa Cruz! It's about 2 hours from home.

Wish you were here...

Big Basin Redwoods State Park-Boulder Creek, CA

..more Redwoods-these things are 1,000-2,000 years old!

Napa Trip

Yesterday Jeff and I decided to take a short little jaunt over to Napa. We left our house around 11:00 and were back by 2:00. That tells you how close it is to our home!

They still drink Budweiser in Napa...it's not all wine!

They even have palm trees in Napa.

We stopped at the Conn Creek winery to buy a case of our favorite dessert wine called Orange Muscat. YUM!

Con Creek winery is on the Silverado Trail along with many others.
