Big boy in the Boppy

Look at me everyone I am a big boy sitting/laying in the Boppy all by myself. Yesterday I went to the doctor and weighed in at 8lb.4oz.! Do I look bigger? Mommy thinks I feel heavier.

Happy Father's Day!

Today is a special day as it's Daddy's first Father's Day! Yesterday was Mommy's actual due date, so to think he's already been here 2.5 weeks is just amazing! We attended church this morning at 9:30 and were impressed that we all 3 got bathed and around in time. Daddy was recognized as being the newest father in the congregation...go Daddy! We couldn't believe how many strangers came up to us at church and said "this must be little Oliver". I guess everyone was excited to meet our new arrival. We came home and took pictures on our back patio so we could look back and remember this beautiful occasion. Enjoy the pictures~some are from a few days ago and others were taken today.

Grandparents come to visit!

Grand-daddy and Momma-Lu (Kassi's parents) came for their first trip as new grandparents on Wednesday and have been doting on the little man since they arrived. Check out the pictures in slide show below.

First day home and visit to the Pediatrician

Well, we've only been home 1 day and it was a pretty eventful one! We had a 2:30 doctors appointment for Oliver where he already received his first shot. :( We made a trip to Target since the Ward home had no food to speak of (Mommy thought she had a few more weeks to stock up on things). Our friends/neighbors brought us a lovely meal for dinner plus several kinds of yummy looking soups, and some other friends stopped by for a visit and to meet the "main attraction". Oliver Ward is Here!!

Oliver Becklee Ward came into this world at 12:19 AM on Wednesday morning June 3, 2009 weighing in at 7 pounds 14 ounces. He was 19.5" long. Enjoy the pictures; we love him to pieces!
