Easter 2011

What a great Easter weekend we had! Jeff had the day off on Friday, which was wonderful! We spent the day as a family running errands and went out to lunch. Friday night we went to the Good Friday service at church and got to see an awesome drama production put on by my buddy Lisa! Saturday morning we went to the Eggstravaganza at our church and had tons of fun! Although Oliver had a fever the night before (and the morning of) we drug him there anyway since last year Jeff and I were both sick and he missed out on his first Easter. Thankfully we were getting out of the car right when they were calling for the under 5 age group and he got to participate. It was a little crazy, as you'll see in the video, but I think he had fun! At least he picked up some eggs! I thought it might be too crazy and he would be scared, but he was a big boy. He is still talking about the bunny, bounce house and picking up eggs. Harlan even did her first egg hunt with mommy in the 25 and over egg hunting group. We got a few eggs before large men tried stealing them from us and about knocked us over! :( Oliver has a friend that he ADORES! Her name is Elizabeth and she helps out watching the kids sometimes at church activities. He talks about her all the time and refers to her as 'Izaback'. I have a few pictures of them making a craft together. Anytime she went out of his sight we had to go find 'Isaback'! Jeff's cousin Courtney and her husband Yoon drove up from San Jose for the weekend and we were so glad to have them! Of course Oliver was attached instantly and didn't want to go to bed last night for fear they would leave. He called her 'cousin corky' and it was quite cute. They were both so good with Oliver and Harlan and is was nice to have family around for the holiday. Check out all of the pictures and videos of our fun times.
