Our busy week...

It's been a busy week in the Ward household. It all started last Saturday afternoon with my first card class of the new year. We had a great time and it was fun getting together with the girls again to get our craft on! Monday my friend Ama and I were suppose to get together to make her baby announcements, however, God had something else in mind. Her water broke at 1AM on Monday. So, I set out to get them made for her on my own. I spent all of Monday and part of Tuesday getting them finished. Tuesday night our friends came home from the hospital so I worked most of Wednesday getting them a hot meal prepared, which we took over to them that night. I have also wanted to begin sewing so Ama's new addition was my inspiration to get going. I started off simple with a receiving blanket that I hemmed. It was hard enough getting it done with my little 7 month old darling demanding mommy's attention. Thursday Ollie and I attended bible study in the morning and it was such a nice day that we made our first trip to the park that afternoon. He had a blast, even though he was the only boy in the play group! He swung in the baby swings and even went down the slide with mommy. I have a picture on my phone that I will try to get uploaded, but we are having computer issues which I will explain in a bit. Friday I got up and finished the receiving blanket, and made the Waker's a fresh pot of Chicken Barley Chili all before noon! Oliver and I took it over to them for lunch so they could get their tummy's full before they had to venture out to an afternoon doctors visit. Yesterday I made 20 Valentine's Day cards for a new little job I have acquired and when Jeff got home we went over to our friend/neighbors, the Florko's, for a lovely steak dinner and movie. Both boys went down around 8 so it was a awesome getting to watch without interruption! Also last night our main computer bit the dust so I am working on my old school lap top from 2002. Hopefully we will get ours fixed soon! Hope all of you had a great week as well!
