What we've been up to...

Hello all. So here is an update on what we've been up to the last week or so. On Thursday we had a dinner party of 8 to kind of break in the new house. It turned out really well even though it was somewhat short notice. It's the first time we fit that many people around our dining table! Now we know we get get both Jeff's family and mine to sit down and eat together. Yeah!

On Friday, my curtains I ordered came in and of course I had Jeff hang those dudes AS SOON as he got home from work. They are 120" long (10') to give you an idea of how tall our ceiling is and they stop half way up. I have shown below a before and after so you can see how good it looks. I still need to steam the curtains, keep in mind, but they will look even better once I get around to doing that. A guy came to our home on Saturday to try and sell us a security system and said our home looked like a model house...thank you, that was my goal. :)
